What Clients Says About our Accommodation

We’ve had some great reviews over the years. Here are a few of our highlights.

What a fabulous few days we have had! Pheasant Lodge has been perfect. Very luxurious and filled with beautiful furnishings, decorations and everything we could possibly want or need. We have thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and drinking gin and tonics on the decking.

We have enjoyed a pint (Or 2!) in the Time Out Tavern and the Door Stop Melts from the Running Fox in nearby Felton are gorgeous. We would recommend pizzas delivered to your door from Yum Yum’s in Morpeth- the name is terrible but the pizzas really were delicious!

The weather has been lovely which has been a bonus and we very much hope to return in the not too distant future.

Jill and John

Thank you so much Sandra, Michael, Debbie and Paul, we’ve had the most relaxing and chilled few days exploring Northumberland and enjoying Pheasant Lodge , what a treat!

We hope we can return soon as we really don’t want to leave!

Andy and Lesley

Thank you so much to the four of you for letting us enjoy the fabulous Pheasant Lodge, inside and out it is very beautiful. Also thank you to Debbie for sorting promptly a small issue we had.

The rain set in yesterday evening but the rest of the few days we had amazing weather.

We recommend everything we have done:- Northumberland County Zoo, Alnmouth (Huge fish and chips in the Hope and Anchor!) Amble Marina, Seabird boat trip from Seahouses (Billy Shiels) followed by crab sarnies on the quay. Dunstan Steads, Warkworth Castle, Alnwick and to finish off excellent meal at the Old Boathouse in Amble. Half a lobster delicious but small, seafood pizza delicious and huge!!!

Hope everyone who stays here has as brilliant a time as we have!

Christine and Mike

Thank you we have had a really relaxing and enjoyable few days in your lovely accommodation. Everything is of such a high standard and you really have provided al we needed and much more. We have had mixed weather but made sure we used the hot tub every day, such a treat in the drizzle or the sunshine!

We would recommend the Anglers Arms at Longframlington, lovely welcoming staff, dog friendly with good food.

The 7.5 mile walk from Craster to Low Newton via Dunstanburgh Castle really shows off the beautiful scenery and beach with a perfect half way stop off at The Ship Inn Low Newton, we would encourage everyone to do this (and of course enjoy the hot tub afterwards!)

We have stayed in lots of self-catering accommodation over the years and can say that yours is of the highest standard especially the lovely decking area and outside seating.

We are certainly sad to be leaving will hopefully return and will certainly recommend you to others

We arrived to a lovely welcome pack with lots of treats. The interior feels very luxurious and provides you with everything you need! Really enjoyed the hot tub, especially on the sunny evenings. We’ve really enjoyed a relaxing break

We recommend Spurreli in Morpeth ( oops meant Amble!!!) But Morpeth is a lovely little market town. Saltwater Café at Beadnall is nice as well as the beach at Beadnell Bay.

We have had the most wonderful relaxing stay here at Pheasant Lodge. It is beautifully done with great attention to detail and all the home comforts have been thought about. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise with lots of lovely treats!

We enjoyed golf at Seahouses and Dunstanburgh Castle and would recommend the walk from Drurudge Country Park to Amble with lunch at the Old Boathouse. Also icecream from Spurelli in amble was amazing!! The Running Fox in Felton was also lovely for breakfast and cake!

The hot tub is a great way to relax at the end of the day, the whole place is just perfect! Thank you so much and we look forward to coming back again soon.

Lee and Lindsey

Thank you for making our stay very comfortable and luxurious. Some thoughtful items in the welcome pack to start our holiday with. Very quiet and hot tub and outside area first class.

Some mixed weather but didn’t stop us exploring the shores and castles, absolutely spectacular!

Alnwick and fish and chips from Carlos, ice cream from Amble and Craster for the crab but get there before 5pm.

Adrian and Lisa

Thank you so much Debbie, Paul, Sandra and Michael for letting us stay in your luxurious holiday home – Think you should go into interior designing!

Druridge Country Park is worth going £3 to park all day and it has loos! Great place to explore round the lake and the beach – walk along to Amble and back. Great fish and Chips on last part of walk into Amble. Widdrington Inn (The Widdy) amazing food but need to book. We arrived on a stormy Tuesday night but had to wait an hour for a table, we booked for next time! Grandby Inn at Longframlington also good for Sunday Lunch.

Hot tub amazing , had to laugh, 2 gardeners, 2 workmen and a plane over head when Steve was in!!

Spoilt with the welcome pack as well. Wonderful to see the deer so close by.
